Crobh Éin Corraigh (Greater Bird’s Foot Trefoil)

The inspiration for this letterpressed eco-friendly note card began with a photograph I took along a woodland walk in Donegal.

Later I turned this photograph into an ink illustration and from there it was made into a plate I could use on Florrie.

Florrie is our much loved, beautifully restored treadle based letterpress platen that was built in 1872.

This card itself is handmade and is wonderfully tactile.

The image is de-bossed into the soft, luxurious tree-free card.
